Kitchen Remodel

The Amish cabinetmakers of Mount Vernon Millworks handcraft a limited number of custom kitchens and other cabinetry at our "off the grid" woodworking shop in the scenic Knox County countryside. We use Ohio grown hardwoods, cabinet-grade plywood, and the finest hardware to produce distinctive cabinetry for our mostly Ohio clients.

Mount Vernon Millworks built the cabinets and island for this kitchen from Ohio hickory featuring our classic inset doors and drawers and applied beadmold. We also supplied the white oak flooring and hand-hewn beams used to remake this 1980s-era home into an Adirondack camp-style lodge for the owner who is an avid sportsman.

The mission of the Mount Vernon Barn Company is to save and repurpose one hundred 19th century Ohio barns and log houses so that they may be enjoyed by future generations and so that we might remember the great age of barns and the men and women who built them. Although the virgin forests of the Eastern United States are forever gone, we feel that with each and every project we are preserving a piece of them.

The mission of Mount Vernon Millworks is to provide an opportunity for local woodworkers to utilize locally-sourced wood to produce high quality distinctive cabinetry and furniture. We use reclaimed, zero carbon footprint wood in many of our projects and minimize the consumption of fossil fuel in the manufacture and delivery of our product.
