Reclaimed Wood Furniture

Mount Vernon Millworks produces a line of hand-made functional furniture and other items made from recycled wood that was originally harvested, processed and transported by hand without fossil fuel. We utilize a minimal amount of electricity in the production of these products and a modest amount of fossil fuel to transport them to you. We also offer a custom furniture line, in which we invite our clients to send us photos and drawings of their ideas and be part of the design process to create one-of-a-kind unique pieces.

The mission of the Mount Vernon Barn Company is to save and repurpose one hundred 19th century Ohio barns and log houses so that they may be enjoyed by future generations and so that we might remember the great age of barns and the men and women who built them. Although the virgin forests of the Eastern United States are forever gone, we feel that with each and every project we are preserving a piece of them.

The mission of Mount Vernon Millworks is to provide an opportunity for local woodworkers to utilize locally-sourced wood to produce high quality distinctive cabinetry and furniture. We use reclaimed, zero carbon footprint wood in many of our projects and minimize the consumption of fossil fuel in the manufacture and delivery of our product.
