Old Rusty

This massive (75ft x 40ft) circa 1820 hand-hewn beech timberframe featured a cantilevered forebay supported by 40ft floor joists every two feet on center. This structure has been repurposed as a family gathering barn, where the owners have held a wedding for one of their children and often entertain family and friends. Favorite spots include the hearth of the 40ft tall stone fireplace and the bar in the old granary made from reclaimed chestnut.
