Adirondack Lodge-Style Remodel

Mount Vernon Millworks furnished the hand-hewn beams, white oak flooring, tongue & groove white pine ceiling boards and kitchen cabinetry for this project in which the owner, an avid sportsman, converted the first floor of his 1980s-era home into an Adirondack camp-style lodge. We also furnished the dining room table and chairs and built a coffee table and huntboard from reclaimed wood.

The mission of the Mount Vernon Barn Company is to save and repurpose one hundred 19th century Ohio barns and log houses so that they may be enjoyed by future generations and so that we might remember the great age of barns and the men and women who built them. Although the virgin forests of the Eastern United States are forever gone, we feel that with each and every project we are preserving a piece of them.

The mission of Mount Vernon Millworks is to provide an opportunity for local woodworkers to utilize locally-sourced wood to produce high quality distinctive cabinetry and furniture. We use reclaimed, zero carbon footprint wood in many of our projects and minimize the consumption of fossil fuel in the manufacture and delivery of our product.
